Fender Factory

I love factories - all kinds. Just seeing how and where things are made, even items as simple as no-tech bicycle accessories enthralls me.

Some pix from a fender factory that I visited this afternoon in Taichung, Taiwan.

rolled steel on the feeder
fender roller, making a motorcycle fender
artsy roller
stacks of unpainted Electra Amsterdam fenders
cruiser fenders
oily concrete floor
fender dimple donut
stainless steel for fender stays

Factory tours can be fun. If you really want to see something, have them take you to a forging factory like Liow Ko. THAT is impressive. Oh, and loud.

On the other end of the spectrum, go to a tire factory. Especially the room where they make tubes.

Glad you're having fun!
