There's not a spec of Mercedes-Benz DNA in this mighty mini, but it's quite cool anyway.

With a rear-mounted, air-cooled 4-cylinder powerplant (and VW ownership post-1968), it would be better-placed in front of the Audi Museum, two hours away in Ingolstadt.

It certainly would have been cool to have watched this thing zip down the straße.
