We experienced our first "winter" storm of the season yesterday, bringing us cool temps (cool enough that I actually *gasp* wore a jacket to work), an inch or so of rain and strong winds.
Sadly we didn't escape this nastiness unscathed.
Yes, a neighbor's palm tree dropped a large branch (frond?) into our rocky backyard. I had to spend about a minute this morning dragging it around front for the landscapers. Heady work, especially at 7 AM.
