DaddyFishing®

Saturday morning I had to put a few things up in the attic above our garage. Celeste always loves exploring the area, checking out the stuff we have stored along with enjoying what's a cool perch for her.

This morning she came across my fishing pole and immediately went about creating a new game: DaddyFishing® (she tells me it's one word, just as I typed).
And what does my grrrl use for bait when fishing for her daddy?
Scotch Tape covered with Bacon Salt
Lego bicycle
piece of paper with Apple logo
and a Volkswagen toy car

She wanted to use a can of beer, but felt that it was too heavy. Does my grrrl know me or what?

Toys, toys, toys... in the attic

Yesterday's trip to Lowes saw us coming home with a 4x8 sheet of plywood (I love owning a van!) so that I could expand on the size of the attic above the garage.

A cut and some screws and I added 32 sq ft of lofted storage. I'm amazed at what I've been able to fit up there - and still allow room to get around.

Yeah, I know - I put the new board in 90 degrees off (the grain is running with the joists in this pic). I realized my error and fixed it prior to filling up the space.
