But I kinda had a little unintended off-bike excursion on the commute to work on Monday. I'm alright, just left a nice patch of skin on a local Carlsbad road, gave me some interestingly-colored bruises and banged up my bike a bit. However, the size and location of the injury (which looks as if I had been attacked by a cheese grater-wielding belt sander) makes it hard for me to sit for an extended period in the chair by our home computer - where all of my pix reside. I hope to have more pix and such from Portland up later in the week, once the wound scabs over and once I don't have to pop the "vitamin I".
